The new parent dashboard, which allows parents to log on to it’s learning and follow their children’s progress and attainment, has been well-received. This feature will be expanded with three new content blocks: individual learning plans, attendance and behaviour.

The individual learning plan content block allows parents to see a progress overview of their children’s individual learning plans. A link points to the plan from the content block for parents who wants to take a deep dive into the plan. This content block makes it easier to follow their children’s individual goals and progress.

With the new attendance content block parents can to follow their children’s absence. This enables parents to take action early on if they discover that their child is frequently absent. From the attendance content block, parents can click a link which takes them to the detailed attendance report.

The behaviour content block allows parents to see their children’s behaviour remarks – both positive and negative. This content provides parents with an instant update of their children’s remarks. If the negative remarks are frequent, parents can take action on an early stage. Positive comments should serve as encouragement for parents.
