itslearning features

itslearning consists of a number of different features which are especially tailored for the education sector. This page describes the most important functionality. Click the links below for more information, video tutorials and resources.

Pages

Why hand out printed notes to your learners when preparing resources in itslearning is so simple? Teachers can create pages in itslearning that gather all relevant information in one place – giving learners quick access to the information they need, without printing or photocopying.

Pages can contain a wide variety of content, such as text, images, polls and links. This enables the teacher to create online resources that contain all relevant information for learners – and means no more printing and photocopying, hand-outs lost by learners.

Simple to create and design

Pages are simple to create. Teachers simply select the type of content they want and add it to the page. They can then write new content or paste it in from another source – and edit it on the page. And drag & drop functionality means they can quickly fine-tune the layout.

Pages can be used to

  • prepare classes for specific subject
  • present course material in context, shifting focus from single elements to themes and topics
  • build a collection of learning resources
  • summarise subjects
  • share information and learning material with your school, site and the community in the Library.
