Just2Easy is dedicated to bringing creative tools to the classroom so students can create, share and learn in a safe environment. For the third year running, Just2Easy has made the BETT Awards shortlist – and four of their tools are available as apps inside itslearning with free trials.
Just2Easy’s tools are designed to allow students to become creators. Take J2Spotlight, a simple stop-motion animation tool available to itslearning users through the App Library. With J2Spotlight, anyone – even young leaners – can make short animations quickly. All they need is a webcam and a little imagination.
Recognised by the leading educational awards
This year, Just2Easy’s blogging tool – J2webby – has been nominated in the ICT Tools for Learning and Teaching category. Essentially, J2webby is a creative platform that both teachers and students can use to create exciting looking interactive webpages simply and quickly.
“J2webby makes it easy for teachers to create and publish really interesting looking resources for students,” explains James Green, head of educational development at the company. “Teachers can add videos from YouTube, images and other resources, just by dragging the files, embedding the code or pasting the link – and we estimate that j2e can save teachers and students 30-40 minutes of the time it takes to create a great looking project page or learning resource.”
Creativity tools available in itslearning
As well as J2Spotlight, itslearning users have access to three other Just2Easy tools through the App Library.
JIT: a web publishing tool for younger students
J2E: a publishing tool for creating exciting online websites
J2Vote: a simple voting tool designed to use with any device
