People learn at different rates and in different ways – so itslearning enables the teacher to divide classes into groups, and give each group exercises designed to suit their level.
Teachers can create an unlimited number of groups and sub-groups in a course in itslearning. This gives them the ability to tailor assignments, messages, and even deadlines, to different groups.
For example, a teacher can create different versions of the same exercise. It's then possible to assign the easier exercise to a weaker group of students and a harder version of the exercise to students who are ready for it. It's also possible to add an assignment, test or other element to a course page that's only visible to a specific group of students.
