itslearning consists of a number of different features which are especially tailored for the education sector. This page describes the most important functionality. Click the links below for more information, video tutorials and resources.

Calendar

The school day involves a lot of activities for both learners and teachers. The itslearning calendar ensure you keep track.

Teachers and students have a lot to do, and they can use the itslearning calendar to keep track of their activities – both personal tasks and things connected to courses and projects. The calendar even reminds you about upcoming events on the dashboard.

How can you use the calendar

  • Add personal activities: you can add activities for a specific day or a specified period of time. You can also add recurring activities, for example, monthly staff meetings or lectures that take place at the same time each week.
  • Create entries for your class: teachers or course administrators can enter activities – such as tests, trips or lectures – for all participants in the course. These activities are then visible for all course participants, but only teachers and administrators can edit or delete them.
  • Create project activities: Project managers can create activities for their project team. Team members then see the activities in their calendars.
  • Switch your view: you can choose to view your calendar by day, week or month. You can also search for specific events, such as tests.
  • Synchronise using iCal: Do you use a Mac, an iPhone, Microsoft Outlook or any other device that supports iCal? If so, you can now subscribe to calendar activities through an iCal feed.
