Attendance Reporting

Have you ever wondered why your school keeps track of student attendance in several different systems? Our new attendance system means you can keep track of attendance in one place – itslearning.

We have worked hard to create a tool that's time-saving for teachers, practical for administrators and clearly set out for learners and parents. All teachers need to do is keep track of attendance in their own course – and the rest is automatic.

Clear overview for teachers and parents

When a subject teacher track class attendance, the information is automatically updated in all the other relevant itslearning reports. As a result, mentors get a clear and accurate overview of a student's attendance across multiple courses, and parents can see a summary of their children’s attendance on the parent dashboard. In addition, learners can keep track of their own absence, and can comment on absence remarks or pre-register future absence.

Spot attendance issues early

Attendance reports, as well as day and term overviews, make it easier to spot problems connected to absence. You can see absence statistics and calculate absence rates for individual students or courses – and schools and local authorities can even define their own reasons for absence.

What can you do with the attendance reporting tool?

  • See attendance reports and calculate attendance rates for students or courses
  • Enable learners to notify teachers about planned absence in advance
  • Use keyboard shortcuts to see reports and overviews faster
  • Comment on a student's absence – and allows the student to see the comment and reply
  • Generate a letter to parents of students with excessive absence
