At the nexus between pedagogy and technology
Djäkneparksskolan, located in Norrköping, Sweden, needed a way of connecting its 1:1 program, where computers are dealt out to all students, to its pedagogical practices. itslearning, which they started using in 2008, bridged this gap.
After years of using the platform in their teaching, ICT manager Mikael Pedersen says school teachers could not imagine teaching without the learning platform. itslearning simply provides them too many benefits: students are more motivated, teachers have more time to teach and sharing materials between colleagues is much easier with the platform, to name a few.

A healthier work environment
itslearning improves the working environment at Djäkneparksskolan by saving teachers time. More time translates into less stress, says ICT teacher Mikael Pedersen.
All communication between teachers and students happens through itslearning. Gone are the days of sending email or SMSes using different programs. itslearning provides one place for everything.
In addition to providing a single communication hub, Mikael says itslearning makes teachers’ jobs easier and gives them more time to teach. “A really good learning platform improves the working environment, frees up time for teachers and reduces stress. And this is what itslearning does,” he says.
